Bodrum Airport Transfer Prices 2027: What You Pay and Why

A Bodrum Airport transfer is priced per vehicle, and the figure you pay depends mostly on how far your hotel is from Milas-Bodrum (BJV), how big a vehicle you need and whether you ride privately or share. As of 2026, Mavi Transfer's route pages show private transfers from ₺2,350 to Göltürkbükü and from ₺2,950 to Turgutreis or Akyarlar. Below you'll find what drives those numbers, what is actually included, and how a transfer stacks up against the Havaş bus, a taxi and a hire car.
This is a price guide rather than a resort-by-resort "how to get there" piece, so the focus is simple: what you pay, why, and where you can save.
Bodrum Airport transfer prices: sample routes for 2026–2027
These are the "from" prices we read on mavitransfer.com route pages in November 2026. Your exact fare is calculated instantly on the booking screen from date, time, passenger numbers and vehicle type, so check the live price for 2027 travel dates.
Route from Milas-Bodrum Airport | Approx. distance | Price as of 2026 |
|---|---|---|
45 km | from ₺2,350 | |
49 km | from ₺2,600 | |
56 km | from ₺2,950 | |
59 km | from ₺2,950 | |
132 km | from ₺4,350 |
Prices are shown in Turkish lira. Other resorts – Gümbet, Bitez, Gümüşlük, Yalıkavak, Bodrum town – follow the same logic. You'll find every destination on the Bodrum transfer page; for example, pop your dates into the Bodrum Airport to Gümbet transfer page and the fare appears straight away.
What affects the price of a Bodrum airport taxi or transfer?
Distance and resort
The airport sits roughly 35–37 km from Bodrum town, on the Milas side of the bay. The further west you go – Turgutreis, Akyarlar, Gümüşlük – the longer the drive. On the sample routes above, the jump from 45 km to 59 km adds about ₺600.
Vehicle size
You pay for the vehicle, not the seat. Mavi Transfer runs saloon cars (up to 2 passengers), minivans and business vans (up to 6), minibuses (up to 15) and midibuses (up to 25). For a family of five with suitcases and a buggy, one van is usually cheaper than two cars. See the fleet page for the vehicle classes.
Private versus shared
A private transfer goes straight to your door with no hotel-hopping and no waiting for another flight. Shared shuttles are priced per person and can suit solo travellers, mainly on longer runs such as the Bodrum–Datça shuttle.
Late-night and early-morning flights
Many UK and Northern European flights land late in the evening. After the last bus, your options shrink to a taxi or a pre-booked car. Some operators add a night supplement; with Mavi Transfer the total for your chosen time is shown before you confirm, so there's no guesswork at 2 am.
Season and booking lead time
July, August and Turkish bank holidays are peak weeks in Bodrum. Fares can vary by date, and availability gets tight, so booking the transfer when you book the flight is the safest bet for school-holiday trips.
Extra stops
Need a supermarket stop for nappies and milk, or to collect a friend in Milas? Add it to the booking notes. An extra stop can change the distance and time, so flagging it in advance keeps the price clear.
Child seats
Child seats are requested when you book. According to the route pages, availability and any extra charge are confirmed before travel. Give each child's age so the right seat or booster is prepared.
Waiting time and flight delays
If your flight is delayed for airline reasons, the driver waits and you are not charged for it. A metered taxi, by contrast, bills waiting time. Adding your flight number helps the pickup follow your real landing time.

What's included in a Mavi Transfer booking
Meet and greet: your driver waits at the terminal exit holding a sign with your name.
Driver details by SMS: number plate and driver name arrive before the transfer.
A vehicle just for you: no other passengers on a private transfer.
Free waiting for airline delays.
Air-conditioned vehicles, with Wi-Fi in some vehicle types.
Price fixed in advance: what you see at booking is what you pay.
24/7 support before and during the journey.
Paying: as of 2026 the route pages state that payment is made in the vehicle in cash or by bank transfer; online card payment isn't available yet. Draw some Turkish lira at the airport ATM, or bring it from home, so you're not doing currency maths at the kerb.
Havaş bus vs taxi vs hire car vs private transfer
Option | Cost (as of 2026) | Good for | Watch out for |
|---|---|---|---|
Havaş airport bus | 270 TL per adult to Bodrum bus station | Solo travellers on a budget | Departures tied to domestic arrivals; you still need a taxi from the bus station to most resorts |
Metered taxi | 150 TL flag fall + 50 TL/km; roughly 2,000 TL to Bodrum town | No booking needed | Waiting and traffic add up; no fixed price |
Hire car | Daily rate + fuel + parking | Exploring the peninsula all week | Navigating after a late flight; summer parking in Bodrum and Yalıkavak |
Private transfer | Per vehicle, e.g. Göltürkbükü from ₺2,350 | Families, groups, late arrivals | Dearer than the bus if you're alone |
The Havaş Bodrum line runs via Güvercinlik and Torba to Bodrum Merkez Otogar and takes about 45 minutes; check times on the official Havaş website. Taxi fares follow the municipal meter tariff, and the estimate above excludes waiting.
Quick maths for a family of four: the bus costs 4 × 270 = 1,080 TL, plus a second taxi from the bus station to Gümbet or Bitez, plus hauling cases between the two. A single private transfer to your hotel door often ends up close in price and far less hassle.

Ways to keep your Bodrum transfer cost down
Travel together. If two families are on the same flight, one minibus beats two vans.
Pick the right vehicle. Count suitcases, golf bags and buggies, not just people.
Book early for school holidays. Fares can vary by date and peak weeks fill up.
Book both legs at once. Sorting the return avoids a last-day scramble for a taxi.
Add your flight number. Delays are absorbed at no extra charge.
Mention stops up front. Late additions change the route.
Carry lira. Payment is cash or bank transfer in the vehicle.
Beyond the peninsula: Marmaris and Datça
Plenty of travellers fly into Bodrum but stay in Marmaris or Datça. At 132 km, Marmaris costs more than any peninsula resort; if you're doing the return journey, our guide on getting from Marmaris to Bodrum Airport covers the options. For Datça, we compare road, ferry and transfer in Bodrum Airport to Datça.

The bottom line
Travelling alone with hand luggage? The Havaş bus is the cheapest way out of the airport. For couples, families, groups and anyone landing late or heading to the far bays, a fixed-price private transfer usually makes more sense on both cost and comfort. Check the live fare for your resort on the Bodrum Airport transfer page – the Mavi Transfer team is on hand 24/7 from booking to drop-off.
